Students' enthusiastic participation in the dental health visit and education project on the occasion of the national campaign "Don't forget two or three" at Firouzabadi Hospital in Rayeh. Under the leadership of the Vice President of Cultural Affairs of the Faculty and with the valuable presence of Ms. Dr. Shirmohammadi, a group of students from different semesters of medical sciences were sent to Firouzabadi Hospital in Rayeh as part of a jihadi and humanitarian program to increase understanding of the real needs of society and raise awareness of society.

In this fruitful program, students, while examining adult and pediatric patients, provided oral health education to clients, especially parents of children. These activities were carried out with the aim of raising the level of public awareness of preventive oral care and increasing access of different segments of society to educational and health promotion services.

During this visit, students, with exemplary enthusiasm and motivation, while interacting directly with patients, taught key points about proper brushing, flossing, proper nutrition, and the need for regular visits to the dentist. Also, patients in need of specialized treatment were referred to the faculty for further treatment with the guidance and coordination of the team present.

On the sidelines of this program, Ms. Dr. Shirmohammadi, Vice President of Cultural Affairs of the faculty, expressed her appreciation for the active participation of the students and stated:

"Our goal in holding such programs is to strengthen the spirit of service, social responsibility, and the application of the knowledge learned in the real environment of society. Fortunately, the students gained valuable experience in serving the people with energy and interest, in addition to scientific learning."

This cultural-educational initiative is an effective step towards connecting the university with the community and promoting the culture of oral and dental health, and was welcomed by the patients and medical staff of Firouzabadi Hospital in Shahr-e Ray.
