Sudents' enthusiastic participation in the dental health visit and education project on the occasion of the national campaign "Don't forget two or three" at Firouzabadi Hospital in Rayeh. Under the leadership of the Vice President of Cultural Affairs of the Faculty and with the valuable presence of Ms. Dr. Shirmohammadi, a group of students from different semesters of medical sciences were sent to Firouzabadi Hospital in Rayeh as part of a jihadi and humanitarian program to increase understanding of the real needs of society and raise awareness of society.

The university administration wishes to inform all international students regarding the policy on withdrawal requests for those currently on academic probation. This matter was discussed during the University Council meeting held on Nov. 04, 2025.

Students wishing to withdraw from their educational programs are advised that requests must be submitted prior to the first midterm examination. Once a student has participated in the first midterm exam, they are ineligible to withdraw and are required to continue their studies through the end of the semester. After the semester concludes, students may then proceed with the withdrawal process.

Dr. Tavakoli, President of the Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS), emphasized the significance of utilizing artificial intelligence, developing scientific protocols, and fostering interdepartmental coordination at the opening ceremony of the 5th Arbaeen Health Congress. This congress aims to conduct a comprehensive scientific examination of health, hygiene, and service management within the context of the world's largest religious gathering, ultimately striving to improve the health of pilgrims.
